Blank Page Accessing R12

After applying the CPU patch July 2009,
I encountered with this error.

An exception occured.

URL=http://host.domain:port/OA_HTML/OA.jsp?page=/oracle/apps/fnd/sso/login/
webui/MainLoginPG&akRegionApplicationId=0&transactionid=1417503822&language_code=US
&requestUrl=&oas=mAZ72j_xwRUpq6ij9xcwFw..

javax.servlet.ServletException: oracle.classloader.util.
AnnotatedClassNotFoundException:

Missing class: _OA

Dependent class: oracle.jsp.runtimev2.JspPageInfo
Loader: oc4j:10.1.3
Code-Source: /oraAPP/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/j2ee/home/lib/ojsp.jar
Configuration: in META-INF/boot.xml in /oraAPP/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/j2ee/home/oc4j.jar

This load was initiated at oacore.web.html.jsp14212142:0.0.0 using the loadClass() method.

The missing class is not available from any code-source or loader in the system.

This is surely a problem with jsps not getting compiled correctly earlier.

So re-compilation is needed.

Compiled the JSPs as follows:

cd $FND_TOP/patch/115/bin
perl ojspCompile.pl --compile --flush -p 2

which first translates all the jsps and then compiles them all.

Prior to that Check if the consolidatesd enviroment is sourced or
cd $APPL_TOP
. APPSCONTEXT_NAME.env

And then restart the Application services.

  1. Hi Kiran,

I have similar issue with R12 EBS environment.

Both apps tier services and database tier are online. I cannot access the login site:

    http://hostname:port/OA_HTML/AppsLogin.jsp

I did find the following errors in the javacache.log file:

    javacache.log on Apps Tier serve

2009-09-16T18:45:52.978-07:00 ias ERROR] [ cache host: xxx.xxx.com [nwad

ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

This is strange because the app tier services work fine and the database server is up and running fine. I can connect to the db server as apps schema from the app tier server.

I recompiled the jsps are advised in Oracle Metalink notes, re-ran autoconfig and restarted app tier services. I still have problems with this.

I ran the servlet ping test and this failed as well.

Have you seen this issue before with R12 and if so, how did you resolve it?

    Regards,
    Ben Prusinski

  2. Hi Ben,
I was about to ask you the recent changes you made when I saw your query in ORacle forums and Hussein's reply.

Please check out with the upgrade process of 10.1.3 Oracle home including pre-upgrade and post-upgrade steps.

and also make a note that there are special step s mentioned for IBM OS during upgrades.

    Regards
    Kiran
