Convert HR Full Mode to Shared Mode Part1

Changing an Oracle Applications instance from FULL HR and/or FULL Payroll Install to SHARED HR and/or SHARED Payroll Install
Part 1 explains when hrglobal.drv is already run on the instance, what should be done to convert the instance to Full-to-Shared

1.
If the FULL Install instance has 'never had the hrglobal.drv file run against
the instance', then the PER or PAY install flag can be flipped from Installed(I) to Shared(S).
Why the hrglobal.drv file?
---------------------------
The hrglobal.drv file installs PER/PAY legislation against the instance.
If a country's legislation has been installed,
Oracle HR support DOES NOT support that instance if the PER or PAY install flag is flipped
from FULL Install to SHARED Install.
How to determine if the hrglobal.drv file has been run against your instance?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Run the following script to determine if the hrglobal.drv file has been run against your
instance.
The output of this script will verify whether legislations have or have not been installed
against your instance.
select substr(application_short_name,1,4) app, rpad(decode
(Legislation_code,null,'GLOBAL',Legislation_code),7,' ') LE_CODE, rpad(status,14,' ') "Install Status", rpad(action,15,' ') "DataInst Action", last_update_date from hr_legislation_installations where application_short_name in ('PER','PAY')
order by LE_CODE,app;
If the 'Install Status' column IS populated as Installed(I) for any legislation,
changing this instance from FULL HR Install to SHARED HR Install by flipping
the flag in table FND_PRODUCT_INSTALLATIONS 'IS NOT supported'
2.
If it is found from running the script that you have run the hrglobal.drv script
(legislations ARE installed on your instance), then changing this instance
from FULL HR Install to SHARED HR Install is quite a bit more difficult.
To be SUPPORTED as a SHARED HR Installed instance you will have to do the following:
2a. Create a 'brand new instance' installed as SHARED HR Install
(also you will have to verify the STATUS for the other HR related products
and change their STATUS appropriately (see list in step 2))

2b. You will then need to export your table data from your FULL HR Install instance
to your newly created SHARED HR Install instance where the hrglobal.drv script
has 'never been run'. This means 'all of your table data for all Oracle applications'.

2c. This is the process for changing Oracle Human Resources Installation
from FULL HR Install to SHARED HR Install
where the hrglobal.drv script has been run (legislations ARE installed on your instance).
